The Flying Bedroom Theatre Company is made up of performers who specialise in music and design. We are passionate about creating immersive performances for young audiences. The team individually studied music-performance, composition and design for performance at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where we all met. We have loved coming together to combine our skills and love for theatre, music and education.

“The Flying Bedroom are very excited to start developing a new show, aimed at 7-11 year olds. This sharing will be interactive and immersive for young audiences and families as they are brought into the early stages of our development process. We combine music-technology and puppetry to create stories, soundscapes and underscores. As professional musicians, designers and composers, we want to share our work with you and ask for your feedback in return. What did the music make you feel? How did the puppets sound? What stories did you imagine?

Flying Bedroom’s new show, currently in development, is supported by the Arts Council of Wales, and will be shared in one or two primary schools in Somerset as part of the Wells Theatre Festival 2024.
